FEFCO Box Styles

FEFCO, the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers, is regarded as the standard international guide to box styles.
The most popular designs are detailed below to assist you when requesting a custom box quotation.

0201: The most common style where the flaps meet in the middle at the top and the bottom of the box
0200: This is an open top box which requires sealing at the bottom only.
0203: The same as an 0201 but the flaps fully overlap to add strength instead of meeting in the middle.
0409: Unjoined carton, normally referred to as a 5 panel wrap.
0411: Similar to the 0409 but joined in the middle of the main panel.
0300: This style is used to produce box & lid designs and can be produced with a shallow or full depth lid.

How to measure a Box

All dimensions are expressed as internal dimensions in mm to allow for optimum accuracy, as follows:
Length (L) x Width (W) x Height (H)
